nearby lights emanate the soul of sound
reflecting peacefully and constantly
finding its way through cracks of old
oh soothes the heart and breaks the mold
it is of life this power gives so much
the enhancement of love opens from such
to renew lives lost in coldest darkness
gives reason for this boldness harnessed
to crush the shards of broken eves
and recycle its ash to november's glow
for december to see that she believes
born into the peace of moonlit snow
timid endeavors gather tenderly here
could january bring in february's air
the cosmos motions in a new year
for the glow will always gain from here
gaze starward and fly into heights of sky
the former shadows have broken sighs
they come away from night's delight
and leave us here in hearts of lights
