People at Thalas.

Joseph James ChungJoseph James Chung
Founder and President
joseph@thalas.com
Education: Johns Hopkins University

On a day-to-day basis, Joseph finds it difficult to separate himself from Thalas. Afterall, he makes it a point to live "To Happiness And Love And Succes (THALAS)."

Previously, Joseph held several positions at Bloomberg Financial in Manhattan and San Francisco from 2004-2006. He earned his BA with Honors from Johns Hopkins University in International Studies. His focus was on East Asia and Business; specifically, Entrepreneurship, Management, the Chinese Culture & Mandarin Language.

Joseph desires to see the world expand its understanding while working within its bounds to find ways of maximizing our Happiness, Love, and Success. His passion comes from the people around him.

We had to keep Joe's bio absolutely serious because he takes himself way too seriously.

Joseph James ChungWilliam Dunn Trueheart
VP Programming Development
will@thalas.com
Education: Stanford University

Will Trueheart spent his entire life dreaming of developing breakthrough programs in software development. His dream began coming to fruition when, as a student at Stanford University, he developed programming language for what we consider the top firm in Silicon Valley (Thalas). He continues his passion by leading the development and research team here. Will is also a big fan of Duke basketball and is not afraid to show it. To this day, he cries when Duke loses a game. "It's all about the passion," he says.

Will also enjoys hammering holes in Ikea shelving. He developed this passion accidentally as he was hammering nails in the back of a shelf one day and missed, hitting the back of a shelf, and placing a rather large, conspicuous hole in it. The Thalas team had to take the shelf apart and put it back together in a way that hid the hole. Yet, Will's passion remains.

Joseph James ChungRenaud Vann
VP of Business Development
renaud@thalas.com
Education: Stanford University

Renaud "The Rock" Vann gets his nickname around our offices from his consistent ability to inspire and support the team.

As VP of Business Development his primary role is to make sure all Ontogenies are (a) privy to all resources Thalas has to offer and (b) finding more ways to utilize resources outside of Thalas.

Renaud is also Thalas' in-house leadership development expert as it was his specialty while developing students at Stanford University. Of his experience he says "The learning with student leaders at Stanford went both ways. I always felt like I learned more about leading from the students I worked with."

Renaud is also almost engaged but we're not exactly sure what the status is. Ask him upon meeting him and you will be sure to engage in lively conversation.

Joseph James ChungMatt Brunnette
VP Marketing & Sales
matt@thalas.com
Education: University of Minnesota

Thalas welcomes a new addition to our Executive Team. Matt clearly enjoys spending his times outdoors. He has also actually found a way to invent and execute infinite possibilities... beyond infinity. On that note, from Matt we still have much to learn.

Matt developed his specialty while streamlining and managing sales processes at various companies (not ours, so we forgot their names). His expertise lies in financial analysis both in macro and micro levels, across several industries.

Upon meeting Matt, you may expect to be quickly whisked away by his expertise in several important topics of conversation. His strategy is to impress you with his intelligence and seal the deal while you are caught agasp. We tell you now not as a warning, but as a fortelling of what no one (not even us) will be able to escape.
